Cafe Milano provides on-site banquet facilities for all your special event needs, from private luncheons, receptions or dinners, corporate events, anniversaries and birthdays to fundraisers, seminars and book parties.
Our Catering and Special Events Office offers a range of services through preferred vendors for your floral, entertainment, photography, transportation, decoration, audio visual and any other special needs. You may select from our preferred vendors or choose your own favorite.
Cafe Milano offers three superb private rooms. Semi-private arrangements also are possible on the patio, any of the private rooms or the main dinning room. Off-premise catering service is available on a selective basis.
Menus
Drawing upon culinary lessons learned in the great kitchens of his native land, Cafe Milano's Corporate Chef presents a wonderful blend of dishes refined from regions of Northern and Southern Italy.We are delighted to offer sample catering menus with choices for your consideration. Or customize your menu based upon your needs and tastes. A 20% service charge and a 10% D.C. sales tax applies to all food and beverage prices.
Private Dinning Rooms
Cafe Milano offers three beautiful private dining rooms with windows:The Domingo Room:
Maximum capacity is 24-32 guests, named after Washington Opera's Artistic Director Placido Domingo who particularly enjoys this elegant room. The Domingo Room is all glass enclosed and located near the entrance of the restaurant.

Maximum capacity is 50 guests, located in the back of the main dining room.The Wine Room:
Maximum capacity is 60 guests, located on the second floor.
The Main Room:
Available for large events on a selective basis.The Patio:
Available for semi-private events.
Catering Arrangements
There is a minimum financial requirement in terms of food and beverages revenue attached to reserving a private dinning room. Arrangements vary based upon the size of the party, the nature of the function and business demands. A room rental applies, if for any reason, food and beverage revenue does not meet the minimum financial requirement. Semi-private arrangements also are possible in the patio, any of the private rooms or the main dinning room. Beverage Service
Cafe Milano provides a full service bar offering premium brand liquors, domestic and imported beer, mineral waters, soft drinks, after-dinner liqueurs and fine wines from premier producers in Italy, France, California and other regions.
From American white and red wines to European rare vintages and large format bottles, the wine list at Cafe Milano reflects careful research and a sensitive selection of vintages. Beverages may be purchased on a per drink basis or may be offered as part of an all inclusive price per person. Prices do not include sales tax or gratuity. Enclosed please find a list of liquor and wine prices. There is a labor charge of $75 per bartender for a three-hour minimum. Additional hours will be based upon $25.00 per hour.
Special Catering Services and Fees
Our Catering and Special Events Office offers a range of services through our preferred vendors for your floral, entertainment, photography, transportation, decoration, audio visual and any other special needs. We are happy to make the arrangements for you. Based upon the nature and complexity of the special services request, a labor charge and/or rental charge may be applicable. Please note that Cafe Milano prohibits bringing outside food and beverages without special waiver and permission in advance. If an exception is agreed upon by Cafe Milano, service fee applies to corkage, cake cutting or any other special requirements.
Parking and Coat Check
Valet or self-parking is available at Georgetown Court Parking, adjacent to the restaurant. Guests are responsible for their own parking for the duration of the function.Hosted coat check arrangements are available. There is a $75 labor charge per attendant. A "NO TIPPING" sign is available at a cost of $1 per item.
Guarantees
